In consideration or your accepting this entry, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waiver and release any and all rights and claims for liability and damages I may have against the race director Laura K. Schmid-Tyler, Cumberland Area Friends of Scouting, Cumberland Area Trails Alliance, Louie's Finer Meats, City of Cumberland, Cumberland Fire Department and its members and all of the employees, agents, officers, sponsors, donors and volunteers of these organizations and any other sponsors of this event for any and all injuries or death suffered by me in or arising from said event. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to understand the risks and determine whether I am fit to safely complete this event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained to complete this event. I grant to the sponsors and licensees the exclusive rights to the free use of my name, voice and/or picture in any broadcast, telecast, advertising, promotion or other account of this event. I acknowledge that my entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable, even if the race is cancelled. I agree that any legal claim or dispute arising out of or in any way relating to my participation in this event will be governed by the laws of Wiscosin and will be adjudicated exclusively by and in the courts of Wisconsin. Signature of athlete or of parent/guardian if athlete is under 18 yrs old. (If the athlete is under 18, this is to certify that my son/daughter has my permission to participate in the Scoutland Scramble and related event(s), is in good physical condition and race officials have my permission to authorize treatment in case of an emergency.
